Back to the topic of judging, there are a lot of passages that are constantly quoted (usually when someone is annoyed that their dodgy actions are being questioned), but others seem to be ignored.
The Bible says:
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. - Matthew 7:1
But it also says:
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked person from among you." - 1 Corinthians 5:12-13
Jesus said:
"Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." - John 8:7
But He also said:
"Go now and leave your life of sin." - John 8:11
The Bible says:
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9
But it also says:
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? - Romans 6:1-2
The Bible says:
Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only. - Luke 4:8
But it also says:
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves. - Romans 13:1-2
The Bible does not contradict itself. All of these truths go together.
